A successful bid to invest in one of Silicon Valley’s hottest venture deals has outed a stealthy new $100 million fund led entirely by a 26-year-old investor.
When African developer education startup Andela announced a $40 million funding round on Tuesday, it listed a previously unknown firm as one of its new investors alongside established firms such as GV and Spark Capital. Called Amplo, the stealthy fund is raising $100 million for seed and follow-on deals, sources tell Forbes, led by sole general partner: 26-year-old former NEA investor Sheel Tyle.
